1. Enterprise Architect

Primary Skills:

Should preferably be certified on at least one of the industry standard Frameworks on Togaf and Zachmann.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Enterprise Architect will have primary responsibility for designing, Architecting Solutions for a variety of enterprise initiatives, and aligning these solutions with the overall enterprise reference architecture and roadmap.



2. Middleware Architect

Primary Skills:

Fusion Middleware covering SOA, BPM, Weblogic, Webcenter portal and UCM products

Roles and Responsibilities:

Delivering customer demonstrations/presentations to articulate update and evangelise Oracle based technical and FMW product solutions, delivering Customer Web Workshops covering SOA technology topics Weblogic server, BPEL, Service Bus, BPA and Coherence, working as part of COE to create offerings which will enhance/create revenue opportunities for Birlasoft and Contribute to technical solutions and estimations on FMW in response to Requests For Information (RFIs) and Request For Proposal (RFP)



3. Performance Architect

Primary Skills:

Should have good hands on experience on Performance modelllng, Tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and monitoring. Should be experienced on industry standard performance testing tools like HP Load Runner Software, or Rational Performance Tester. Should have the ability to install, configure and use performance testing tools. Ability to plan, build, execute performance tests and analyze the test results for recommendations and report generation. Ability to install, configure and use monitoring and diagnostic tools. Competency in monitoring frameworks for proactive reporting, alerting and diagnosis of performance bottlenecks. Well versed with Oracle, IBM & HP tools for tuning, monitoring, testing, capacity planning & diagnostics

Roles and Responsibilities:

Solving or preventing customer performance problems. Analyzing performance, scalability, capacity for business growth. Identifying architecture and design bottlenecks on multiple applications in the business process. Proposing process changes for better performance management. End-to-end performance evaluation, diagnostics and capacity planning of enterprise systems. Setting up Performance Engg Lab. Supporting large IT implementation and maintenance projects undertaken by Birlasoft from a performance standpoint. Benchmark and evaluate third party tools, technologies and partner products (H/W & S/W) for high performance, stability, reliability and availability.

4. Java/ J2EE Architect

Primary Skills:

Working knowledge of Hibernate and Springs. Should be able to do effort estimation, proposal preparation. Must be well versed in Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and J2EE Architecture. Experience of developing Enterprise Integration solutions using at least one of the following technology stacks - IBM Web Sphere and Oracle Fusion Middleware. Able to interpret and create UML artefacts. Shows knowledge of design patterns and their areas of applicability. Good hands-on skills with Servlets, JSP, JDBC, J2EE Frameworks (Spring), Web application framework (Struts/SF), and JBOSS.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide end to end solution from designing to implementation. Analyze, design, develop software applications using Java/J2EE, Java based tools in multiplatform environment.



5. .NET Architect

Primary Skills:

Expertise in architecting, designing & developing Microsoft.Net platform based applications using C#, ASP.Net, SharePoint 2007 or higher

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide end to end solution from designing to implementation. Analyze, design, and develop software applications using Microsoft .Net technologies. Assessing client requirements and developing an integrated (technical, business, and service) solution, while leading the development of cost estimates for the solution.



6. SharePoint Architect

Primary Skills:

SharePoint 2007/2010, Designing of enterprise web application development , Hands-on on C# and VB.NET, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Forms, Visual Studio Tools for Office
Roles and Responsibilities:

Delivers articulate, effective, and audience-appropriate presentations/ demonstrations for Microsoft SharePoint products/technologies, strategies, and initiatives, Interface with clients to assess the technical requirements for SharePoint portal, Lead the effort to architect complex technical solutions, Function as a subject matter expert within the organization, Create estimates and scopes for enterprise technical solutions and manage technical enterprise solutions involving SharePoint Portal.



7. ECMS/Portal Architect

Primary Skills:

Exposure to Filenet/ Documentum/ Interwoven. Experience of solution design /architecture for large scale enterprise portals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Delivers articulate, effective, and audience-appropriate presentations/ demonstrations for ECMS products/technologies, strategies, and initiatives, Interface with clients to assess the technical requirements for portal, Lead the effort to architect complex technical solutions, Function as a subject matter expert within the organization, Create estimates and scopes for enterprise technical solutions and manage technical enterprise solutions involving ECMS and/or Portal.
