2) Engineering Manager Packet Forwarding
Job Description
Set up and lead a team of highly talented engineers working in the area of Packet Forwarding software for next generation core routers. Will be responsible for engineering execution of the programs by working with internal teams such as HW, marketing, QA, program management etc. Expected to drive SW engineering practices and also to build and sustain strong technical skills in the team. Will be also responsible for the performance, productivity, morale and motivation of the team.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must have strong Networking background.

Job Description
Management experience:
Prior work experience in managing first line managers and engineers with multiple engineering functions. Should have demonstrated the ability to hire/build teams with strong technical engineers, evaluate group strength and limitations, strategic planning, manage and deliver projects spanning across geography. Should have a clear understanding of the project life cycle and product delivery process. Conversant with headcount and budget planning. Ability to multitask, plan and execute multiple projects/customer requests in parallel.
Technical Background:
Prior hands on experience in the area of Ethernet/MACs, SONET, Optical/OTN & Layer 2 technologies. Experience with development of embedded Ethernet, SONET drivers/features and line cards for routers and switches. Bring-up of high end Ethernet (100/40GE) and Sonet hardware. Good insight into over-subscribed Ethernet, intelligent queuing mechanism, system HW and forwarding architecture is an added advantage. Strong oral and written communication is essential.
Minimum experience: 11 years.
A Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronics Engineering is required.
4) Software Engineer – 3G / LTE Packet Core
Experience        : 4 – 18 yrs
Job Summary: Design, develop and maintain networking protocols and mobile applications software on highly scalable networking platforms
Responsibilities:
Strong design and development experience using C in UNIX or Linux environment and excellent problem solving skills.
