Hi All,

Please find below the JD for some requirement in Alethea communication technologies, requirement are Bangalore based.

Sorry these are not for fresher, only for those having experience in Telecom domain.

 

Job Spec-1 - LTE protocol testing (Number of openings - 2)


- Job is for LTE Handset Protocol functional testing & Test environment enhancement.
- It involves working closely with development team
- It involves technically understanding the issues and coordinating the fixes/releases with development team

Experience: 3-5 Years
Degree: B.E/Mtech/MCA or equivalent
Knowledge:
*       Knowledge of LTE or 3G Systems
*       Understanding of LTE/3G protocol layers and functionality
*       Understanding of air interface and messages exchanged across the air interface
*       Understanding of test equipments like Anite, Rhode&  Schwarz, Anritsu etc
*       Understanding of SW development lifecycle, bug tracking
*       Python, TCL or any other scripting language

Experience:
*       Testing of LTE or 3G devices - protocol and data throughput
*       Experience in testing with base stations or test equipments mentioned above
*       Creating, documenting and execution of test cases
*       Experience in logging and tracking of issues in defect management tools
*       Experience with automation of test cases

 

Job Spec 2 - LTE Access Stratum Embedded debugger - (No Of Openings - 2)


- Job is for LTE Access Stratum debugging
- It involves intense crash debugging and embedded debugging skills
- Capability to fix issues and understand the LTE Access Stratum
Experience: 3-5 years
Degree: B.E/Mtech/MCA or equivalent

Requirement
* Telecom experience and understanding of a telecom technologies
* Knowledege of RLC/MAC in 2G, 3G or LTE
* Experience of debugging data path with base stations or test equipments (Rhode & Shwartz, Anite, Anritsu etc)
* Understanding of debugging methods in Emebedded environment
* Ability to understand big code bases running over 10,000 lines and fix issues

 

Job Spec 3 - Wimax sustainence/maintainence engineer - (No of openings - 2)


- Job is to maintain WiMAX protocol stack which is among World's best stack
- It involves understanding the existing code and fixing issue
- Job will involve travelling to customer site (Japan, USA) and work with them closely to identify issues

Experience: 3-5 years
Degree: B.E/Mtech or equivalent


Requirement
* Very good programming Skills in C & C++
* Thorough Understanding of basic Data Structures & algorithms
* Ability to understand big code bases running over 10,000 lines and fix issues
* Ability to interact with customer and pin point issues in the code
* Basic knowledge of WiMAX
