EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: 

Sr.Business Analyst/Lead - Business Analyst 


§        4 - 8 years experience in gathering business requirements by conducting JAD Sessions, requirement workshop, brainstorming etc… 
§        Hands-on Experience in Requirements Analysis, Clarification and Realization sessions with development team. 
§        Experience in documenting user requirements using various methods like use cases, BRDs etc., 
§        Translating business requirement document to software requirement specifications 
§        Experience in using requirement management tools (e.g., RequistePro, Quality Center etc) 
§        US Health Plan Knowledge is a MUST 
§        Exposure to Claim Processing Application (Ex. Facets, Paradigm, Amisys, Market Prominence, QNXT, IKAsystems etc.) is a must. Intermediate to Expert Level is desired. 
§        Working knowledge of database concepts, SQL, database design and analysis concepts, UML, Microsoft Visio or equivalent 
§        Exposure to the EDI standards like X12N and NCPDP is desired 
§        Knowledge of US ICD-10 mandate and changes is desired. 
§        Strong listening skills, displays patience and good comprehension 
§        Must be a fast learner and able to work under tight deadlines 
§        Strong Analytical, Logical & problem solving Skills 
§        Excellent oral and written communications skills 


Candidate must have experience in Health Plan functional leadership as well as demonstrable skills in one or more functional health plan areas including enrollment, member service, claims processing, benefits, provider reimbursement, provider set and billing or accounts receivable. 

Certifications: PAHM, FAHM, CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)

Job Description: 

·          Experience in N-Tier application design and development using Microsoft suite of technologies

·         Must have Technical skills / Tools experience: C#,  ASP.NET 3.5, .Net Framework 3.5/4.0 preferred, SQL Server 2008, IIS App server, Visual Studio 2008/2010, Javascript, JQuery, XML

·         Knowledge of NUnit / Type Mock Testing Framework or any unit testing framework

·         Knowledge of Window Powershell (preferred)

·         Knowledge of MS Build and Configuration management tools like SVN is desirable

·         Exposure to advanced .NET concepts like WCF, Windows Service would be plus

·         Good troubleshooting and debugging skills

·         Knowledge of OOAD concepts and Design patterns

·         Exposure to test Driven development

·         Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle

·         Must be familiar with quality guidelines, standards and procedures

·         Good written and verbal communication skills

 

Experience in Banking domain would be a plus

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for understanding the business requirements and proactively seeking clarity and resolving ambiguities

·         Preparation of Engineering documents (High/Low level design document  and unit test cases)

·         Provide an estimate for the technical work effort

·         Designing, coding and testing of software applications with high quality and on-time delivery

·         Performing design review, code review and testing of software features

·         Interfaces with Product and QA teams spread across geographies

·         Fixing defects during reviews and/or testing raised by testing teams and customers

·         Prepare support documentation for use by internal / external customers

·         Help fellow team members on technical issues

·         Participate in team briefing/project team meetings

·         Report progress/problems to Project Leader

·         Ensure adherence to quality standards and coding guidelines.

 

Qualification:

BSc./ B.E/ B.Tech./ME/M.Tech./M.Sc. (Computer Science, Information Science, IT, S/W)/MCA/MCM
