 Embedded Software - Test Engineer Bangalore, India
   
 
  • Ability to develop cross-functional feature test plans based on system requirements
  • Expertise in both Manual and Automated testing
  • Provide detailed reports of test execution, defect analysis
  • Educational Requirement:
    • Candidate's must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in CSE/EEE/ECE
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    • Required
      • 4+ years experience in testing in one or more of the following areas
  1. Testing Optical Networks (SONET/SDH/DWDM) systems in a product development environment.
  2. Experience in use of OTN, SONET, FC, and GigE test equipments
  3. Experience in white-box and black-box testing across multiple releases of a product line.
  4. Experience in test plan development and its conformance to requirements for ISO and TL9K audits.
  5. Prior experience in testing protocols such as RSVP, OSPF, BGP, GMPLS, CSPF etc. is a plus.
  • Desired
  • Programming/Scripting Skills: Perl, Shell scripting will be an added advantage
