Associate Lead – Mainframe Testing

Perform Functional/Manual Testing for assigned projects. Develop and execute test plans and scripts to validate business requirements. Ensure timely project deliveries as per release plan Review deliverables and ensure Quality of deliverables. Report project status/dashboard/issues/metrics to reporting authority. Assist manager in achieving business goals. Take & implement initiatives for test process improvements and quality of work. Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings. Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes. Can guide small size projects and mentor juniors as assigned. Document unit test plans and complete unit testing successfully & bug tracking. Review work and deliverables with reporting supervisor. Build a relationship with project stakeholders/business partners. Escalate issues to the business partners/managers timely.

Desired Skills:

B.Tech./MCA graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, correspondence courses are not relevant.) Around 5 years of strong experience in system testing, integration testing. Strong experience of testing in Mainframe environment. Hands-on exposure to DB2, VSAM and SQL queries. Good knowledge of ISO and CMMI models. Good knowledge of Testing tools like Test Director/Quality Centre. Good understanding of US healthcare insurance domain. Understands different test methodologies, SDLC.

Senior Software Engineer – Java/J2EE - OM

Designing, coding, debugging, documenting and supporting efficient and effective computer applications and tools consistent with established specifications and business requirements. Interpret business requirements related to a significant element of a system application. Assist with design or enhancements of straightforward aspects of less complex systems. Document unit test plans; completes unit testing successfully. Providing L2 & L3 Support in the Production Environment. Analyzing issues related to Application Support. Evaluate new enhancement request and solution to work. Assist in evaluating alternative protocols, tools, standards and systems investments. Works independently on most aspects of work. Guides, trains, instruct and assist others at lower levels on straightforward technical issues.

Desired Skills:

B.Tech./MCA graduation (Minimum 15 years of formal education, correspondence courses are not relevant.) 3-5 years of total experience. Should have executed the complete SDLC on at least one project using Java, J2EE. Experience in Struts, Websphere, Webservices, UNIX and Oracle/Sql is required. Experience on Adobe Flex and Vignette is preferable. Prior experience of working in offshore-onshore Delivery Based Model. Prior Production Support Experience - Problem Ticket Resolution, Incident Resolution, SLA Management, Server Patching Checkouts / Application Validation, Application Monitoring, Batch Supervision and Abend management Sun Certified Professionals preferred. Strong communication skills. Able to provide training and assistance on full range of technical issues to lower level staff on a project team.

Experience on IMS DB and DB2 is mandatory. Working knowledge of Endevor, Xpeditor, FileAid, DB2 performance monitoring tools Should have played the role of a technical mentor in his career. Strong knowledge of operational maintenance environment. Should be able to execute Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute). Significant experience in a single complex development environment or across multiple platforms. Shows strong, general understanding of health care industry. Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff. Able to lead walk through of design documents. Independent communication with business partners to resolve design issues and negotiate project related items such as priorities and completion deadlines. Leads others toward technical accomplishment, collaborative project team efforts and achievement of important project goals. Must be available to participate in on-call duties.
