Desired Candidate Profile

 

: Minimum of 5 - 10 years working experience in projects and maintenance as per details below:

 

• Should have worked as Project engineer for small and medium scale projects in a continuous process industries / EPC contractors / Consultants.

• Should have good experience in engineering and design of Equipments, Piping etc. for the process industries.

• Should have good knowledge of International standards for Design, Materials, Fabrication, and Dimension etc.

• Able to design and make the Equipment and Piping layouts, Isometrics, Supports, MTO etc. independently.

• Having field experience for assembling the machinery parts, Fabrication, Alignment, Erection, Planning for men and materials, scheduling etc.

• Should have supervision capability to manage a team of field supervisors and contractors’ personnel.

• Should be aware of all safety requirements while working at site.

• Should have thorough knowledge of various softwares e.g. MS Windows, Office, Project, SAP, AutoCAD etc.

• Should have maintenance experience in chemical plants especially VSF or Pulp etc

• Should have working knowledge of SAP Maintenance Module.

 

Job Description

Functions : Immediate for Project Execution as detail below;



• Technical specification review and resolution.

• Coordinate the collection and dissemination of technical information between/within the company and consultants.

• Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers and consultants to ensure timely response to action items.

• Create bill of material, detailed instructions for erection, commissioning and testing.

• Ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting’s closing process.

• Directs and supervises other engineering activities.

• Assists in the coordination of pricing, estimating, scoping strategies for proposed projects and in the development and preparation of technical specifications.

• Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.

• Assists in the preparation of probable construction cost estimates.

• Prepares quantity estimates.

• Reviews and monitors project progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements of contract documents.

• Responsible for control of work-in-progress, ensures accurate client billings

• Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary by his supervisor.

• Receives / solicits guidance on unusual and/or complex problems and supervisory approval on work plans.

Function After Project completion for maintenance of plant

• Mechanical maintenance of equipments of viscose fiber industry

• Development and implementation of mechanical maintenance strategies for fiber plants,

• Monitoring mechanical maintenance performance, improve machining availability by reducing down time, implement long term planning (failure analysis, action plan, and preventive maintenance).

• Provide professional technical & administrative assistance in collaboration with other maintenance departments and production to meet the company’s targets.

• Plan and control maintenance and Capex budgets.

• Ensure safety and housekeeping in accordance with company and governmental regulations.

• Ensure needed technical training is provided to sustain innovative thinking.

• Provide effective leadership, incorporating effective communication, motivation and participative management.

• Establish group and individual targets for departmental employees.
