Description Dimension & Scope:
This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity and timeliness of client invoicing and general ledger elements. Act as primary resource for escalationresolutioninvestigationand identification of key issues that have impact on revenue or P&L’s.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, compile, and review information for daily and ad-hoc reports requested by the client and / or to meet internal needs.Assess contractual definitions and apply to client invoices according to guidelines.Assist in developing and implementing reporting templates and tools across buisiness units for standardization purposes.Provide detailed analysis and reports relative to financial performance.Investigate and resolve issues impacting P&L performance.Prepare journal entries, back-up documentation, financial statements, and client invoices on a monthly basis.Attend required meetings (i.e. Sr. Management, team, and cross-organizational meetings, etc.).Coordinate with team members in order to meet required deliverables.Gather and assimilate information and data relative to financial performance.Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of professional and non-exempt direct reports; providing prompt and objective coaching and counseling; and coordinating, planning, and assigning work for staff in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable legal requirements.
Education & Professional Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field from a four-year college or university.
Candidate Profile:
Four to six years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.The ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization.The ability to demonstrate innovation and good judgement/problem solving skills when making decisions.The ability to establish a course of action for self and others to accomplish a specific goal while using appropriate resources.Proven ability to analyze and improve work processes and policies.Work well under pressure, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills (verbal & written).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail, etc. in a Windows environment.Specific knowledge of department or project specific systems, product, and processes.Knowledge and practice of company endorsed performance management/coaching techniques and tools and specific sales process principles.Understanding of OCM/CMS and other relevant tracking or reporting programs.Understanding Client/Supplier relationships.
