AREAS: Capacity Management(Cross Functional Services)
EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Educational / Professional Qualification (Preferable):
Willingness to work in shifts including Night Shifts.
Capacity Management Knowledge and Skill requirements:

EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Educational / Professional Qualification (Preferable):
- Bachelors degree in IT, Engineering, Accounting, Maths or Statistics
- Completion of ITIL Foundations & IT Service Management Practitioner: Capacity Management (highly regarded)
- Excellent Communication skills
Willingness to work in shifts including Night Shifts.
Capacity Management Knowledge and Skill requirements:
- Understanding of Capacity Management processes
- Ability to identify and investigate performance issues and resource bottlenecks on Windows 2003 & 2008, Unix, AIX or AS400 servers
- Understanding of Windows Virtualization concepts, BMC Performance Assurance Tools/BMC Perceiver/BMC visualize , Tivoli Monitoring tools and Axibase (Plus)
- Knowledge of Performance Monitor and ability to analyse performance monitor logs and identify capacity issues.
- Experienced in Capacity Forecasting , Capacity Modeling , ITIL Service Lifecycles and Processes.
- Experience of having implemented service improvements for capacity management processes with tangible benefits delivered.
- Forecasting expertise based on trend (component, application, business) information as well as business forecast information to determine IT asset requirements in a 3 and 12 month period
- 5+ years of overall IT experience.
- Has knowledge of monitoring tools like Tivoli, Unicenter, BMC Patrol.
- Operational and/or process support experience highly regarded.
- Has experience effectively dealing with multiple teams within a the organization
